These guidelines say in plain words what is allowed in dcyphr.® ID and what is not. They apply to everything you post: tasks, comments, notes, messages, chat, profiles, uploaded files, logos and linked addresses.
The reason is simple: several teams work on the same server. What one of them posts can affect others — legally, technically and in reputation. So we draw the line beforehand rather than afterwards.
Viruses, trojans, ransomware, exploits, keyloggers, crypto miners and anything else that harms other systems or secretly uses their capacity are not allowed — neither as a file nor as a link, neither executable nor packed in an archive.
We already reject executable file types on upload. That is a hurdle, not a check: responsibility for the content stays with you.
Exception for security work: anyone who deals with malicious code professionally — e.g. in IT security — needs an express written agreement with us and an environment set up for it. Without that agreement the ban applies without exception.
Pornographic depictions do not belong in this application. Depictions of sexual abuse of children and young people are prohibited without any exception and regardless of any agreement. Such content leads to immediate blocking and a report to the competent authorities.
Post only what you are allowed to post. This concerns above all images, fonts, videos, source code and whole documents. If in doubt: do not upload, link instead — and even then only if the source allows it.
Health data, biometric data, information on religion, beliefs, political opinion, trade-union membership, ethnic origin or sexual orientation — the special categories under Art. 9 GDPR — do not belong in tasks, comments, notes or attachments.
Otherwise too: only as much personal data as the task needs. A card note is not a personnel file.
Passwords, API keys, certificates and recovery codes belong in a password manager, not in a task. Whoever stores them here gives them to all members of the board — and makes them part of every backup and export.
The interface is there for work. Anyone who loads it until others suffer will be slowed down.
The same rules apply to addresses you store in the cloud or in maps as to files. Links to malware, unlawful content or sites that harvest credentials are not allowed. Links open in their own window — check where you send your colleagues.
Depending on severity: notice, request to remove, blocking of individual content, blocking of the account, termination. For content that fulfils criminal offences — in particular under number 2 — we block immediately and file a report.
We do not search your content. We act when we become aware: through a notice, a complaint or an official request.
Noticed something? Write to contact@dcyphr.ai. Name the place (e.g. event, board, chat or profile) and the file or entry concerned. We will look into it and get back to you.
These guidelines may change when new cases make it necessary. We inform you of substantive changes at least 14 days in advance by email to the address stored in the account.
